Ingredients
1/4 cup of oil
4 tomatoes or 3 cups cherry tomatoes
4 large basil leaves, chopped in thin strips
1 minced garlic and a bunch of basil
1 bread
Preparation
Add the tomatoes, onion, garlic, basil, salt, pepper and oil to a large mixing bowl and set aside.
Use a bread knife to slice the bread on the diagonal, making 1/2 or 3/4 inch thick slices.
Toast the bread and place it on a platter, if you like you can spread a the garlic before putting on the top all the the tomato mixture. Serve immediately. Best when fresh!
