ABOUT THE PRODUCT:
Ruby red intense colour with violet shades. Olfactory examination: intense and fragrant, fine, fruity with floral hints. Taste examination: warm and smooth, full-bodied, fresh, very persistent and harmonious.
ALCOHOL VOLUME: 14%
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 8°C
Vinification: soft pressing of freshly harvested grapes, spontaneous fermentation at 28°C with maceration on the peels for approximately 12 days. The ageing continues for few months in stainless steel tanks before bottling.
This Barbera expresses its authenticity with its fresh acidity, well-balanced by the warmth of the alcohol and elegant body. The nose initially reveals hints of ripe fruit, especially cherry, strawberry and raspberry, followed by floral notes of wild violet.
It is extremely pleasing on the palate, with a lingering flavour.
A concentrated wine that keeps you craving for more and that pairs well with savoury appetizers and first courses with rich sauces. Served slightly chilled (14-16° C) it livens up hot summer evenings, perhaps accompanied by barbecued meat.
