Renato, the tin cookie jar with 300 g of Biscotti of Prato is dedicated to the Bottega Museum in Florence. On this tin some details of the museum of Mattei Florentine salon have been recreated, such as the iconic wall with the golden frames depicts, some real characters like Antonio Mattei and other fictional characters or inspired by real people and historical, mythological characters.

Prato Biscuits - also commonly known as almond cantucci or cantuccini - are part of the Tuscany confectionery tradition that sees them as a perfect end meal in combination with Vin Santo.
Prepared with flour, sugar, ground breeding eggs, almonds and pine nuts, they do not contain preservatives, animal fats or vegetable fats.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Since 1858 Antonio Mattei has been producing Italian biscotti and confections in the historical bakery and shop located in the heart of the old city Prato, Tuscany. The historic biscuit factory has retained the name of its founder even though it has been managed by the Pandolfini family since the early 1900s, whom introduce numerous preparations keeping the same passion and ingredients of the past in the preparation.
