actose, the main sugar contained in MILK.
Many people are allergic to Lactose, being characterized by partial o total inability to assimilate it.
Its digestion is possible only thanks to an enzyme called lactase, which is tasked to divide in Lactose in two simple sugars, glucose, and galactose, making the product easy to digest and avoiding in this way the typical bother of allergy.
