ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Buffalo Ricotta is a product obtained through the processing of the “first whey” obtained in the cheese-making process of Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP or PDO, which uses milk from the local buffalo breed.
This authentic buffalo milk ricotta is porcelain white in colour, rindless, with a grainy but not sandy consistency that is soft and creamy. The flavour is characteristic, fresh and slightly sweet, whilst the aroma is reminiscent of milk and cream. One delicious cheese on your table!
Raw material: Raw buffalo milk
Taste: Sweet and pleasantly acid, with a milky aroma and some hints of nature
Curiosity: The buffalo is native from Asia and when it arrived to Italy it found the natural habitat in the mediterranean climate of the south of our peninsula
Suggestions: Serve it at room temperature; we also suggest to taste it with a blonde, fruity and not bitter beer
